That is a fact purely based on PHYSICS!
Whoever tells a different story is ignoring these basic facts or has no access to them, he might be blinded by having other interests or he is simply lying!
Our Vision is to make people understand what is really happening in terms of energy around us. What extraordinary source of power our central star represents which gave the name to the tiny spot in the universe, called "Solar System" of which our Earth is an even smaller element. It is our vision to showcase the power and potential of the SUN!
Our Mission is, to make it clear to energy consumers, that these over 65.000 square km of this tropical island are blessed with just about 800000 GWh of Energy every day, free of charge, delivered by the sun. The total consumption of the 20 Million people including their businesses and industries will never even come close to a demand of even only half a % of that. The total amount of power consumed in Sri Lanka on a day is less than 100 GWh and out of that, the pure electric consumption is just about 33 GWh per day! Once we understand that our human capabilities will never ever be able to challenge or even substitute such "outer space power" we have already reached a lot. What we can do is to try to understand those physics and with our means, intelligence and technology make the best possible use for us in such way, that we avoid harming our environment as much as possible and allow it to keep functioning the way it is set up to function. It would simply be foolish trying to copy the suns capability for example with atomic power or by burning raw oil, a substance that is ideally qualified to serve us as an valuable raw material, rather than burning it with dramatic direct effect on our environment in terms of CO2 emission a, health-threatening particles and unnecessary heat. If we create awareness of the fact that oil can serve us for much needed medical support, clothing and other extremely valuable substances and materials instead, we have achieved a lot. Technology is what we can develop to optimize the facilitation of our energy requirement. The more effort we invest into such Technology, the less we will have to spend for the energy itself, as it is simply being converted by technology, not produced or extracted. As any technology becomes cheaper over time we would be able to stop the constant increase of price for the energy we consume simply because the primary energy available for us is free of any cost.
Those 800000 GWhof energy per day, the sun delivers day by day to this island does not even include all the windpower and hydropower available on the island, as it is basically converted outside of Sri Lanka with the sunlight delivered to its neighborhood. For this spectrum of Energy, Sri Lanka is the natural storage – the battery which stores the energy generated in the neighborhood of Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean through gigantic streams of air in different temperature levels, creating motion and that way also absorbing the water evaporating from the ocean. We do not need to pay for it as said before, what is more, we do not have to bother about transporting it to the island, we need not pipeline and no container terminal, all we need is awareness, appreciation and technological means to welcome it. That is why ASET Automotive & Solar Environmental Technology has started introducing and promoting nothing but such Technology long before any of the existing companies have even thought of such possibilities.
Our Mission started with a "YES - we will" a very, very long time ago, we never took "NO" for an answer anywhere along our way and we are not done with our options just yet!
